Guro is a Norwegian footballer who plays as Central defender for Brighton & Hove Albion in WSL and the Norwegian national team. She made her debut for the senior national team at the age of 27 and scored in her first match. Bergsvand was also named the 2021 Top League Role Model of the Year because, among other things, according to the jury, she “is a role model and inspiration for all young players who face adversity, who doubt themselves and who need proof that what may seem impossible is actually possible.” She won 3 Titles with Sandviken / SK Brann in her 2 years at the west coast of Norway, before she joined the south coast of England.
